poster
A personal tool that uploads videos to one YouTube channel. No login. No tracking. One user.
What is poster?
poster is a small personal application built by its owner to upload and schedule short videos (YouTube Shorts) to the Motor Matrix Tech YouTube channel, a channel about Chinese and Western electric vehicles. It exists for one job only: getting a finished video file from the owner’s computer onto the owner’s own YouTube channel, at the right time.
What it does
- Uploads video files to the owner’s YouTube channel using the official YouTube Data API.
- Schedules publication by uploading as private with a publish time.
- Authenticates with Google OAuth 2.0 using the
youtube.uploadscope only, which permits uploading videos and nothing else.
Who uses it?
One person: the owner and administrator of the app. There is no public sign-up, no login page and no user accounts on this website or in the app. If you are not the owner, this app is not for you, and it cannot access your account or your channel.
No login needed. This website has no login page, no accounts and no forms. Everything on this site is public information about the app.
What it does not do
- It does not collect data from visitors to this website.
- It uses no cookies, no analytics and no advertising.
- It does not access, read or modify anyone else’s Google account, YouTube channel or videos.

Privacy Policy
1. Who we are
poster (“the app”) is a personal application owned and operated by Many Luvalo (“the owner”), who is also its sole user and administrator. The app is not offered to the public. There are no other users, no user accounts and no login system.
2. What the app does
poster uploads and schedules videos to the owner’s own YouTube channel (Motor Matrix Tech) through the official YouTube Data API, using Google OAuth 2.0. That is the app’s only purpose.
3. Information we collect
Because the app has a single user, the only personal information involved is the owner’s own:
3.1 Google authorization data
When the owner authorizes the app with Google, Google issues OAuth access tokens and a refresh token for the youtube.upload scope. These tokens let the app call the YouTube Data API on the owner’s behalf to upload videos. The tokens are stored in the owner’s secure credential store and are never shared with anyone.
3.2 YouTube channel data
The app reads the owner’s channel identifier and channel title from the YouTube Data API, only to confirm that uploads go to the correct channel.
3.3 Video content provided by the owner
The owner supplies the video files, titles, descriptions, tags and scheduled publish times that the app uploads. This content is sent to YouTube exactly as provided, and becomes subject to YouTube’s own terms and privacy policy once published.
3.4 Information we do NOT collect
- We collect no information from visitors to this website. There are no accounts, forms, comments or logins here.
- We collect no information about anyone other than the owner: no names, email addresses, locations or device data of any third party.
- We use no cookies, no tracking technologies, no analytics services and no advertising.
4. How we use information
The information listed above is used for one purpose only: to authenticate with Google and YouTube and to upload and schedule the owner’s videos to the owner’s channel. It is never used for advertising, profiling, analytics or any other purpose.
5. Sharing and disclosure
We do not sell, rent or share personal information with any third party, except as follows:
- Google / YouTube: the tokens, channel data and video content described above are transmitted to Google’s YouTube Data API because that is technically required to upload videos. Google handles that data under its own privacy policy.
- Legal obligation: we would disclose information only if required by law or a valid legal process.
No other third party receives any data from this app.
6. Data storage and security
OAuth tokens are kept in the owner’s secure credential store, accessible only to the owner. Video files and metadata exist only on the owner’s own devices and on YouTube after upload. We apply reasonable safeguards to protect this information, and no other person has access to it.
7. Data retention
OAuth tokens are kept until the owner revokes the app’s access (see section 8). Video metadata supplied for an upload is kept only as long as needed to complete that upload. Once a video is published on YouTube, it is governed by YouTube’s retention rules, not by this policy.
8. Your controls: revoking access
As the sole user, the owner can revoke the app’s access at any time in the Google account permissions page (myaccount.google.com/permissions) by removing poster. Revoking access immediately stops the app from calling the YouTube API. Previously uploaded videos are not deleted by revoking access; they can be removed in YouTube Studio.
9. Children’s privacy
poster is not directed at children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. The app has one adult user, its owner.
10. Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new effective date. Because the app has a single user, material changes will also be reviewed by the owner directly.
